Six industries where an error costs more than downtime

In each industry we know the processes, data formats and regulations. That is why we start with the operational problem, not a feature list.

Oil & gas

An oil and gas field means hundreds of wells, tens of thousands of telemetry signals and strict process-safety rules. We build the digital chain from the wellhead sensor to the custody transfer point: telemetry, production accounting, and drilling and workover monitoring.

  • Field telemetry and SCADA: well pads, automated group metering units, booster pump stations, water injection pump stations, oil treatment and gas treatment units
  • Production accounting and allocation from the well to the custody transfer metering station
  • Real-time drilling and well workover monitoring, tracking and evaluation of well interventions
  • ESP and sucker-rod pump sizing and surveillance, artificial-lift optimisation
  • Pipeline leak detection and corrosion monitoring
  • Computer vision for fishing operations during workover (WRA)

Geology

Geological data piles up over decades in different formats, and resource estimates and investment decisions depend on its quality. We bring it into one validated database where every well, sample and section is available in seconds and tied to the model.

  • Corporate well, core and sample databases with QA/QC
  • Well log interpretation and petrophysics: LAS/DLIS, core-to-log calibration
  • 3D geological modelling and block models
  • Support for reserve estimation for the State Reserves Commission (GKZ), and resource and reserve reporting to the JORC Code and SPE-PRMS
  • Sampling and geochemistry: LIMS, sample and duplicate tracking, core store
  • Corporate GIS and web maps of licence areas

Geotechnics

An error in a foundation or slope calculation may not show for years, and the cost can be a collapse and lives lost. We give engineers calculation tools with transparent, code-based methods, software for borehole logging and the soil lab, and monitoring that warns of deformation before it reaches critical values.

  • Calculation modules and calculators: bearing capacity and settlement, piles, slope stability, earth pressure
  • Software for logging boreholes and trial pits and processing investigation data (STRATOS GEO)
  • Soil laboratory: test processing, test sheets, reports and summary tables
  • Geotechnical monitoring: deformation (inclinometers, extensometers, InSAR) and pore pressure (piezometers)
  • Dam and tailings storage facility (TSF) monitoring with alerts when safety criteria are exceeded
  • Investigation data to CAD and BIM: AGS4, DXF, IFC

Mining

A mine runs on shifts, haul cycles and tonnes — and underground, on the minutes it takes to evacuate. We tie the geological model, the fleet and the people into one system: the plan reconciles with actuals, and the dispatcher always knows where every person is.

  • Automated truck-and-shovel fleet dispatch
  • Ore tracking, grade control and blending from face to mill
  • Block models, mine survey data and mine planning
  • Underground personnel positioning and emergency alerting
  • Pit slope stability monitoring: radar, prisms, InSAR
  • Photo records of faces and sampling points (FIELDPix)

Energy & heavy industry

In metals, chemicals or power, an hour of equipment downtime costs more than the whole monitoring system, and an operator error can become an accident. We automate processes, predict failures and train staff on simulators before they reach the console.

  • Supervisory level of process control: SCADA and data historians
  • Substation and power-plant telemetry to IEC 61850 and IEC 60870-5-104
  • Alarm management to ISA-18.2
  • MES: work orders, output tracking, traceability
  • Automated energy metering and energy management supporting ISO 50001: utility metering, energy performance indicators (EnPI), peak load control
  • Predictive maintenance from vibration and temperature
  • Industrial cybersecurity aligned with IEC 62443
